ஒலிம்பிக்: ஹிஜாப் அணிந்து வெற்றி பெற்ற முஸ்லிம் தங்க மங்கை
பஹ்ரைனைச்சார்ந்த ருகையா அல் கஸ்ரா வின் சாதனை முஸ்லிம் விளையாட்டு வீரர்களுக்கு புத்துணர்வை ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கிறது। அதிலும் குறிப்பாக ஹிஜாப் அணிந்து விளையாட்டில் பங்கு பெறும் பெண்களுக்கு।ஹிஜூத் ( Hijood - sporty ஹிஜாப்) என்னும் உடையை (தலைமுதல் கால் வரை மறைக்கப்பட்ட உடை) அணிந்து 200 மீட்டர் ஒட்டப்பந்தயத்தில் பிரான்ஸ் வீராங்கனையை பின்னுக்குத்தள்ளி முதலிடம் பிடித்து தங்கப்பதக்கத்தை வென்றதன் மூலம் தன்னுடைய அக அழகை கூட்டும் ஹிஜாபினால் தன்னுடைய விளையாட்டிற்கு தடங்களில்லை என்பதை உலகிற்கு நிறுபித்திருக்கிறார்.இவருக்கான உடையை ஆஸ்திரேலியாவைச்சார்ந்த விளையாட்டு வீரர்களுக்கான உடையை தயார் செய்யும் நிறுவனம் தனியாக தயார் செய்து அனுப்பியது।இந்த சம்பவத்தைப்பற்றி ஒரு ஆங்கில வலைப்பதிவர் கூறும் போது...I know it's just a meaningless preliminary victory, but not only will that moment have a strong effect on Bahraini, Arab, and Muslim men and women alike, but will and has served to open up a dialogic space in that region and here as well.மேலும் கூறுகிறார்...I'll tell you why I love watching Olympic events with Arabs participants in public places. It gives me a chance to add some complexity to the general public's limited and simple understanding of the socio-political and cultural situation in the Middle East.
